Through the USDA Partnerships for Climate-Smart Commodities, we partnered with Adopt-Ag to scale sustainable field practice enrollment and enable insights on greenhouse gas emissions

In the end, we went with a containerized data architecture focused on rapid schema evolution and scalability through the cloud
Our initial model enabled web app development and greenhouse gas modeling. As we received feedback from stakeholders, integrating Prisma's schema-driven ORM with a FastAPI REST API allowed us to simultaneously evolve our data schema and enforce type safety as the business requirements evolve. With a declarative schema as a source of truth, we were able to promote collaboration and prevent knowledge silos.
With an ever-changing business landscape, scalability and flexibility were mission-critical. Containerizing our data platform enabled us to leverage Google Cloud's suite of services including serverless CI/CD, cloud storage, and data warehousing. By developing cloud-first, we were able to quickly deploy app changes, enforce automated testing, and create the infrastructure for big data intelligence.
